Today is a New Day...

Yesterday was long. Really long. For what ever reason, I was having a sentimental one as well... as you can tell from my previous post. All I can think about is my little baby girl & how beautiful she's growing up. She's so smart... she's so caring... she's so... so... good God... AMAZING! I know that most parents can boast this, but I swear... she's the most wonderful thing on this earth!

She was acting all sweet & loving this morning. She even gave Lance the ol' "caressing your face with the back of the hand" thing! She was even trying to help me with my zipper on my coat. When I left her at the daycare I asked her for a kiss... then she asks me for a hug, then nosey kisses, then butterfly eye kisses... one would almost wonder what she's after! LOL What is her motivation? What does she want? LOL But not my baby... she is just that darn wonderful!!!

I am so lucky to have such a character in my life. She absolutely shines, but you know... she comes by it honestly. Her daddy drives me crazy like this. Every day is new. I wouldn't even trade the bad days because its at least another day I have with them.

Let's Start at the Very Beginning... A Very Good Place to Start...

So, Hi! I'm Becky. I totally got hooked to reading a friend's blog on here about their son & it made me wanna create something cool like it! LOL Isn't that how it always is? Somebody throws a "want" on you & I know me... if I don't do it now I'll only over-obsess... Wonderful character flaw of mine! I'd like to accomplish keeping track of all the cool things that Audrey (oh yeah... that's my daughter!) does & maybe share a few funny ideas of mine here & there, so here we go!

Last night, Audrey was so cute. On our drives home she has started telling me which way to go. Most of the time she's correct on how to get home, but last night she must've wanted to run the streets. She kept telling me to go the opposite direction of home! I finally stopped acknowledging her demands & she distracted herself with her toy phone... calling Granny & sighing because her phone was ringing too much. LOL I told her to just to wait until she has real people bothering her on the phone & then she would have a real reason to sigh.

She's growing up so fast! Of course, this has been a hot topic lately because my baby is about to turn 3 years old on Jan. 27th. Can you believe it? I started thinking about it on the way home & started tearing up! My little, precious 8 lb. baby girl that I feel like I was just getting to hold for the first time in the hospital is holding up her little fingers & telling me, "I 3 yrs. old, Mommie... I big girl!" Oh good Lord, I can't take it! LOL Her little round face & hardly a whisp of red hair wearing a long sleeve, white baby tshirt, diaper, & little white sockies... now she wants to play dress up & its always a princess or fairie. My-My-My... where has it gone?

I'm planning her party which will be small... mostly family & a couple of close friends. We're going to do a Tinkerbell theme & I will also be throwing her a little party at her daycare with her friends, too. This kid is having 2 parties. LOL She's not spoiled rotten at all... not at all.

Also, this weekend I'm taking my momma to go see David Allen (a really righteous Elvis impersonator) for her Christmas present. I can't wait to watch her get all excited. She is even talking about bringing him a present! LOL My momma is the best!

Anyhow... I think I better close for now. I'll try working on this thing a little later & maybe post a few pics. Maybe this time I'll actually keep up with this blog stuff! lol
